Fabric Requirements:
I've used 4 different fabrics on this project.
1) White Scuba( A 4-way stretch fabric)
2) Dark grunge for the big circle
3) Another grunge fabric with gold flakes
4) A plain green for the binding

| White | 30x30" | 32x32" | 50x50" |

Binding needs to be calculated based on the width you're planning on adding. Take the width you'd like your binding, then multiply by 3 and the length would be the perimeter of the size you're going to do.
Example: Let's say I'd like my binding 50mm/2", multiply by 3 = 150mm/6" (this is the total width of the fabric you're going to need. For the length, if you're making the 8x12 then simply take the sum of the breadth length and multiply by two. Ex. 8x12 = 16x24 Sum= 40" in total so you'll need a 40"x6" piece for your binding.
Remember to always buy a little extra, just in case!
